$5 Drop-In
To purchase the $5 dollar drop-in pass, you can do so via this link here or you may pay in person at the skate shop counter at the arena.
Our Program

What we are
Our sledge hockey program offers a recreational drop in experience for people of all abilities and skill levels, to learn and practice the fundamentals of para ice hockey.
It is a super fun way to try this exciting and fast paced sport, in a super positive atmosphere!
We are made up of dedicated volunteers that have a love of the game.

Where & When
We play at the Juan de Fuca Arena:
Saturdays from 4:00 – 5:00 pm.

Safety & Equipment
Safety is important and accidental collisions can and do occur. We expect safe and courteous play from everyone.
We have sledges, sticks and a certain selection of protective hockey gear you can borrow for free.
If you happen to have your own helmet, gloves or other gear, please feel free to bring them.

Membership & Fees
A $5/drop-in pass is needed to play each time. It can be purchased through this link here (you must create an account) or through the JDF Skate Shop.
Please consider supporting this sledge hockey program you are playing in, by purchasing a VWCS Annual Membership.
Not only does this membership provide additional perks, it funds/offsets ice costs and helps to provide the free gear you borrow in order to participate in this program!

Who Can Play
Open to all abilities and experience levels, ages 7+
Although unintentional collisions can still and do occur, we expect everyone to strive to promote safe play for all.
Should you need assistance getting in/out of the equipment or on/off the ice, we are happy to assist wherever we can!
